Description

Our boost rear hub is our pride and joy! It features our patent-pending DOUBLE RATCHET SYSTEM with 120 points of engagement (60 of which are engaged simultaneously) and our unique and rich stereo freehub sound. Our ratchet rings are CNC machined from hardened high-strength steel.

The hub has been optimized to be an incredible balance between reliability, robustness, and low weight. This is why it comes with a 17mm axle, large steel bearings, and all aluminum parts are made of aerospace-grade 7075-T6 alloy. The freehub body is hard anodized to make the aluminum surface more robust and wear-resistant. Hard anodizing gives 7075 its characteristic golden color.

Our hubs are extremely easy to service. No special tools are required for disassembly, maintenance, and reassembly. We only use standard sizes for our bearings. This makes it easy for you to get replacement bearings locally if one of them should fail.
